Hate to say it but the kid was probably better off this way. I grew up in a home like this. I almost starved on more than one occasion. Beaten damn near to death. Left alone for days on end with no heat, no water, no electricity, or food. State won’t ever take the kids from homes like this n

I would expect the hospital to get the police involved and to do something to prevent this mother from taking her baby home. The hospital s/have clearly identified that the mother was on drugs… We need to do better to protect our (the) children! 🙏

yall. she didn't have custody. the dad brought the baby over AFTER she and the baby tested positive for drgs during child birth and the father was given sole custody.

If you watch part 2, the dad had custody of the baby and mom wasn't supposed to be around him. Dad just wanted to give mom the opportunity to see him, but they both used meth, fell asleep and she rolled over on him. He got 20 years, she got 30 years.
