Look, the ‘God created humans because He was lonely’ thing sounds poetic, but omnipotence kinda ruins the premise. If God is actually God—infinitely powerful, infinitely complete—then loneliness isn't a problem He has to solve. He could just... not be lonely. And if He created us because He wanted companionship, then congratulations: the omnipotent being created billions of unpredictable hairless apes who argue about politics, murder each other, and spend half their lives trying to figure out whether He exists. So no, I don't think God created humans because He was lonely. If anything, the scarier question is why a being that needs absolutely nothing would choose to create anything at all. Because if God didn't need us... then our existence was a choice.
