Very Informative thank you Chilo. I get why the government has cheapened the Pula. But if they keep this going more Batswana are likely to be affected not the country itself. I have observed prices fluctuating dramatically this past few months. My question is will things get better for ordinary Motswana and will price go down after all this nightmare. P100 gets you nothing in a store today. I think the government should cushion Batswana from this crazy price increases, with the little salaries we are getting we might as well just perish 🙌🏾

It's called the crawling peg...a cheaper Pula is favorable for exporters, on the other hand imports become expensive.
