you can not get rid of the waxes by doing that , if you can that thing you wash the fruit with is very muck more dangerous for the kids to put in their mouth

So fyi, since strawberries are so porous, they technically should only be washed directly before eating them, otherwise that water just spoils them sooner. 😅
