You should try ketchup(3/4 cup), brown sugar(2tbs) and mustard(1tsp) for the topping (Cracker Barrel recipe). Tweak with a little more brown sugar for sweeter taste. It is sooo good. I make enough to use to add to a slice. I always used just ketchup on top since my mom would fix that way but not anymore.

Ive been making meatloaf in the crockpot for twenty years. It tastes better, stays moist and the flavors are awesome. It’s also so nice to know dinner is 90% done at 8 in the morning. 😊

For those wondering why use crockpot, I work 12s. I could do this and go right to bed without worrying about not waking up on time to get it out of oven. Stays hot while rest of family can help themselves when they get home.
