from a female my best advice to you is to help teach her how to take care of it. if she wants to go traditional and you're supposed to support her then that means you're also supposed to lead and show her how to do things correctly. if you think her coping out of the payment and having you take it feels wrong, it's probably because she is taking the easy out and doesn't know any better. that doesn't help her grow.

is the debt because of schooling or shopping/ spending habits? I think it’s unfair of her to ask him to shoulder that burden even if he can afford to. what’s to say she won’t end up in dept again?
