What’s even worse is that Alester isn’t even in debt to a voodoo spirit just a random canabalist in hell. to people saying "but alastor was made in 2008 before princess and the frog" yes you are correct, but if you look at the original concept for alastor he didn't have any of the green voodoo magic until way later in like 2019 (it was originally just a bunch of red squiggles) so despite what she says, Vivienne definitely took the voodoo inspiration directly from Princess and the frog without doing proper research into it's cultural background. classic Vivienne L

Ok hold on the reason the symbols appear when he uses magic is the fact that majority of his magic isn't even his own, it's all borrowed from another character.
