Cannoli Dip with Cinnamon-Sugar Chips
And THIS is the dessert I'd make for Dad.
Serves 6-ish because everyone claims they're full and then eats it anyway.
Cannoli Dip
15 oz whole-milk ricotta
8 oz mascarpone
¾ cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp cinnamon
½ cup mini chocolate chips
Optional: zest of ½ orange
Important Step
If your ricotta is watery, drain it first.
Put it in a fine mesh strainer over a bowl in the refrigerator for at least 1–2 hours, or overnight.
Otherwise your dip can get runny.
Make the Dip
Beat ricotta and mascarpone until creamy.
Add powdered sugar, vanilla and cinnamon.
Mix until smooth.
Fold in mini chocolate chips.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Top with a few extra chocolate chips immediately before serving.
🔥 Blackstone Cinnamon-Sugar Cannoli Chips
Ingredients
6 flour tortillas
3 tbsp melted butter
¼ cup granulated sugar
1½ tsp cinnamon
Powdered sugar for finishing
Mix cinnamon and sugar.
Cut each tortilla into 6–8 triangles.
Brush lightly with melted butter.
Sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar.
Cook on a medium-low Blackstone for approximately 1–2 minutes per side, watching carefully because that sugar can burn quickly.
Remove and let cool. They'll crisp more as they sit.
Pile them around your bowl of cannoli dip and dust everything with powdered sugar.
Want to make it ridiculous?
Put out little bowls of:
mini chocolate chips • chopped pistachios • crushed waffle cones • strawberries • maraschino cherries
and let everyone make their own Cannoli Nachos.
