Whether the case IS just about her mental state or about who’s guilty or not, it SHOULD be about who is guilty, Patrick SHOULD have been investigated. This was still a failure within the criminal justice system

My take: Kevin Reddington really does care about Lindsay. I think he’s playing a longer game outside this particular court case. If he can secure an NGRI while implicating Patrick’s involvement, negligence, or deceit to a certain degree fast tracks Lindsay to win her Civil Suit while also encouraging some sort of investigation into Patrick. Will the DA do that? Unlikely. But will there be a ton of pressure on their neck to do so given how high profile this is? Maybe. What else does she have to lose? Nothing. But what does she stand to gain? Help for the future. I’m not saying he did it she did it. What the evidence is showing is that he is an unreliable narrator and witness, and he is the ONLY narrator and witnessprosecution already lost whether they like it or not. They centered their entire case around his story. Every second counts in a 55 minute time span and things are not adding up. Two truths can exist and I believe Reddington is trying to show that both parties should be (or have been) investigated which utterly destroys the case prosecutors set forward which solely focuses on the timeline Patrick originally described (which has many proven inconsistencies in the testimonies that followed his).

The elephant in the room gets bigger each testimony. They weren’t sleeping in the same room. She wanted her mom to sleep with her because she’s scared to be alone. I don’t think she was afraid of PC, but I don’t think he brought her and the kids a level of safety and comfort they needed. It was just as much his responsibility to keep their children safe. He gets to create a new life while she lives in turmoil the rest of hers.

There are attorneys on here saying the same thing about what the trial is about! They are claiming that this is only about her state of mind and not about her innocence or guilt. They are calling us delusional and claiming we are conspiracy theorists because the evidence and timeline doesn’t make sense!

It was interesting to me when Lindsay’s mum said “if Patrick didn’t want to pick up the kids, I would drive Lindsay to get them.” Now she could have implied that he couldn’t due to work but I think the way she worded it was interesting and intentional. He was completely disconnected from his wife and children. I’m not accusing him of anything just that I agree with you that there was definitely underlying issues there between Patrick and Lindsay

Am I delusional for thinking that two things can be true at the same time? Lindsay suffered tremendously from PPD and other mental health issues. She cried for help and failed horribly. But I also think a narcissist could and would absolutely gaslight and manipulate this situation to his benefit and commit .. many things.

fellow narcissistic survivor. I wrote on another page that I started taking antidepressants two months before my wedding and now, 6 months post divorce Im almost off them. I also called the S hotline. and I never told anyone how bad it was. I actually thought I was the problem because of reactive abuse. I honestly don't how im still here but im glad I am.

I think all of us that have been in a narcissistic relationship see the red flags waving and yesterday was just tough because we wish he would go harder at looking at the spouse and injuries that perhaps couldn’t have been done by herself. I hope they give Meta data for where that watch was…
