Yotsuba was probably the best for Futaro, and you might say she had no romantic build up, but that’s kind of the point. You have to understand Futaro himself and his preference. Know how Yotsuba always seemed like a supporting character? That’s why Futaro chose her, for her kindness and how she tried to support her sisters with their relationship with Futaro, but she was chosen since she never seemed like she was competing, which didn’t make Futaro stressed or overwhelmed. And for early access? Futaro didn’t even know Yotsuba was the girl he met back then for more than half the show, plus Yotsuba would’ve already been the right one for Futaro. Plus, Ichika got early access but she didn’t use her chances wisely. Yotsuba did in a way, where she made Futaro happier.
