There are 2 simple ways you can fulfil that order: 1️⃣ You keep the stock If you have products at home and you’re shipping orders yourself, you’ll: • Package the order • Buy your courier bag • Create the shipment/waybill • Add your customer’s details • Drop it off or arrange collection This is your typical e-commerce fulfilment. It can be cost-effective, especially if you’re able to keep delivery around R100 or less. 2️⃣ Your supplier ships for you This is the method I personally use! 🙌🏽 Your customer orders from YOUR store → you submit their order details to your supplier → your supplier packages and ships directly to your customer. 📦✨ You don’t need stock sitting at home, and you don’t have to spend your day running to the courier. The marketing is basically the same because both are online stores — the big difference is what happens behind the scenes after you make the sale. 💡 No time? Supplier fulfilment may be your best option. 💡 Have stock + time to pack and ship? E-commerce fulfilment could work for you. And that’s it!
