Leave ALL devices at home. Phones, watches, rings, etc. Write down 2 numbers to call, in the event you're arrested. Be kind to others, be safe, do not use real names while out and about. Do not take the same path away that you did on the approach. Be smart about this people and a strong message can be sent. Be dumb about it and it fuels their narrative.

if I were to write a completely fictional story about this happening, I'd have my characters wear lifts to change their height, maybe have a stray wig hair "accidentally" poking out that's different than their natural hair, and walk differently than their normal gait so that if gait technology ever improves, it can't be traced back to them. I'd also have them pay cash to buy second-hand generic costumes and add padding to modify weight appearance. maybe rent a bike with cash or borrow a car, parking far away from any cameras and walking the rest of the way. I'd make sure they have candy bags to hide their tools in so they don't look suspicious. maybe even a second costume/bag to change into out of view to confuse anyone looking at the feed. Lazer pointers would be a must. idk if walkie talkies are safe, I'd have to research that. they'd have a lawyer lined up in advance, just in case. I'd also write it so they tell a few trusted individuals the general location of where they'll be and when to expect them home just in case. I think that would make a great fictional story.
