As a former Lake County resident (Gary, Munster and Griffith), I have so much to say, about the infrastructure issues around NW Indiana, but that would take hours. I have a sinking feeling that once the light come back, the county is gonna gobble up the land, and folks will be further displaced.

The northwest Indiana National Guard has been deployed since August 11. Also those food pantry lines and all those handouts a lot of its taxpayer money it’s coming back. I get everything else you’re talking about but you’re overdramatizing what happened in Northwest Indiana.
