But what we don’t always show is the hard work, frustration, and effort it took to get there. Sharing the tough moments on the internet isn’t easy. It requires a different kind of vulnerability. So today, I want to show you a little bit of mine. Training gets hard sometimes. Very hard. There are moments when your body is tired, you’re frustrated, nothing seems to be working, and giving up feels so much easier than continuing. But I’ve learned that those are often the moments when it’s most important to show up for yourself. And thankfully, I have an amazing instructor @claudel.kompa.dance.instructor who is patient, understanding, supportive, and most of all, who genuinely wants to see me succeed. Having someone who continues to encourage you and push you through those difficult moments makes such a difference. ❤️ Giving up is easy. Continuing to work for the person you want to become takes discipline. So if you’re working toward something and it feels hard right now, keep showing up. Even when it’s messy. Even when it’s frustrating. Even when nobody sees the work you’re putting in.
