2 carry-ons + 2 kids for 2 weeks in Europe 🧳 Here’s what we packed & my tips for packing light! Our first big trip as a family of 4 to London 🇬🇧 I packed everything except the kitchen sink. But our giant suitcase didn’t arrive … for 5 DAYS! When it finally showed up, I realized we didn’t need any of it. Haven’t travelled with a checked bag ever since! 🧺 My no. 1 tip is LAUNDRY. It’s one of the main reasons we book vacation rentals & bring just a few outfits per person 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Each person gets ONE packing cube 🎒Each person gets a BACKPACK, including the kids. Even if they don’t carry them, it helps separate their stuff and gives them a sense of ownership 👖Pack neutral clothing that you can easily mix & match 🛏️ Book accommodations with a crib or pack n play 🙅‍♀️ This might be controversial to say … but you don’t need a slumberpod, blackout curtains, monitors, big bulky sound machines, travel bathtubs and playmats. You also don’t need diapers, wipes and toiletries like shampoo, soap, lotion and sunscreen ... buy it all at your destination. You can live without the fancy stuff for a week! ✨ MOM’S BACKPACK + FANNY • Overnight sleep stuff: Trtl pillow, blowup footrest, mini sound machines, eye masks, melatonin gummies, warm socks, toddler sleep sack • Toddler’s snack box • Extra snacks • Diapers and wipes • Toddler’s travel kit • Big ziplock bag of extra kids clothing, vomit bag, gravol • Laptop + phone charger • fanny with glasses, passports, few airport toys, gum, phone, wallet ✨ CARRYON BAGS • Packing cubes with clothing + extra shoes • Small toiletry & makeup bag • Small medicine / first aid bag • Electronics bag • Toddler’s portable high chair • 4 year old’s travel kit • Extra diapers for first day • Extra snacks for the trip ✨ 4 YEAR OLD’S BACKPACK • iPad • mini • Headphones • Muslin blanket • Snack box • Pulls ups + pajamas for overnight flight • Stuffy • Water bottle • Few toys from his travel kit ✨ TODDLER’S BACKPACK • Stuffy • Baby doll • Few toys from her travel kit • Water bottle ✨ DAD’S STUFF My husband uses a travel backpack and was fit ALL of his stuff in it using our guidelines DM with questions ✌️
