Snakes coordinate hundreds of vertebrae and ribs to move without any limbs at all. And fish can sense tiny movements in the water through their lateral line, almost as if they can feel the space around them. That’s what I find so beautiful about nature. The same basic challenges - moving, breathing, sensing the world, finding food - have been solved in completely different ways. There is no single blueprint for how a body should work.
