Ugh Carly I am so sorry! I lost my dad to this when I was pregnant with Kyndall. He began emailing me notes so I would always have them. I cherish them to do this day.

I found that I couldn’t think of questions necessarily, because I too caught up what was happening. But what I am SO glad I did, was go through my Grandma’s house and take pictures of all of the littlest details. Things that made me think of her while I was at her house- like her earrings drawers, her folded socks, her little collections, etc. because they were so unique to her. I honestly still look at them now. 🤍

Carly, look up Storyworth! It can help with questions and make into a book. I recorded my dad answering the questions and then typed them out and submitted with pictures. He got a question each week (he was 88 so I didn’t do it daily). I now have a book that I also got printed for my mom and siblings for my dad and his stories. I also have the recordings which mean the word to me now that he’s gone. If you have questions, let me know. It was sooooo worth it!
