its cuz he got better at it, the clone jutsu has more than 5 signs that need to be done but Naruto just uses 1 sign cuz he masterd the jutsu and same with the rasengan and fireball jutsu

Hand signs are only used to mold chakra anyways that’s why it takes Kakashi 42 signs to make water, dragon, bullet and Tobirama 1. Same reason Naruto had to teach himself how to do shadow clone with only one hand after losing his arm.

I mean he just stronger. I don’t know if they ever explained it but we see many shinobi stop using hand signs for certain jutsu probably because they understand how to generate and regulate their chakra without relying on signs to direct their chakra to certain points and combinations.

You don’t need hand signs to use a technique there just a guide as you use it more and more your body gets used to it and the chakra automatically goes when it needs to
