Rather than trying to scoop with the Sawyer squeeze bag, cut the top qtr or 3rd off a cheap reg sized water bottle. A cpl scoops and with a light light pinch in the right place to make a sort of spout, pour into the bag. The scoop 'scrumples' up just fine & weighs next to nothing.
