it took timbra 6 MONTHS to ask to move . I gave her expensive gifts everyday, fossils, clothes , did tasks for her, talked to her multiple times a day 😭 she finally asked to move after I gifted her chocolates from happy homes and built her a home.

I’ve had multiple villagers in a day have thought bubbles including asking to leave, and from what I’ve personally noticed every time a villager has asked to leave my island it’s been after 7-8pm idk if that’s important but it’s always been that way for me
