Not wearing a uniform doesn’t automatically make the operation illegal. Section 59(4)(a) of the Nigeria Police Act 2020 allows an officer executing a search or arrest warrant to be out of uniform, provided he identifies himself with his official police ID card and produces the warrant. Let the lady call her lawyer so that he or she can go meet her there before she say or write any statement, Know the law before judging.
