Carter Stan here to preface this. But wow.. referring people to carters formula analysis doesn’t help her like she thinks it does. Carter says like thrice that she can’t defend her or use it to help prove how she got there and ended up with that recipe she can only use it as a comparison about how the end product is different from a food science point and technical, and shows people how they have the first several ingredients are identical. I’d also like to add I made a sour cream cinnamon roll recipe during COVID that was before Kylie’s and I swear it looked like Kylie copied HER it came first

So many ppl posted the recipe in the group and someone said the topping is Ree Drummond’s recipe. You cannot copyright a recipe. Once you purchase it, it is yours to do whatever with.

The part I can’t get over is the ”or any substantially similar adaptation derived from this recipe” because all cinnamon roll recipes are going to be a SIMILAR adaptation even if you add or remove any of the ingredients she uses in her recipe so make that make sense???

she complained to the head person on that page so now we cant even speak of that recipe now if we do or say anything about her we will be kicked off that Facebook group! she was mad that everyone was giving her recipe out for free that people paid for.

lmao. I bake at a 5 star hotel with a gourmet coffee shop. I found a recipe I thought would be good online and use that to sell rolls out of the coffee shop. Literally no one will know what kind of recipe you're using. make sure it tastes good and go with it. 😂

What's crazy is you can change the smallest thing in a recipe and its no longer someone else's. I could add a extra 1/4 tsp of cinnamon and it isn't classified as someone else's anymore. People are wild. I'm sorry you are going through all this. I loved the "is the recipe worth it" series.
