The story doesn’t sound right she’s got a pension part of her late husband‘s pension plus a 401(k) plus her Social Security you should be living just fine.

it cost me 370 dollars for supplemental insurance. I'm left with about 1700.00. Even if I had a pension I wouldn't be able to pay rent, utilities, food, car insurance, etc etc. She is 80. The older you get the extra pension money gets used up with supplementing living expenses.

I met a woman at a grocery store, widow, age 70’s, sobbing in the store because she was just diagnosed with heart failure. Still working because she can’t retire. I only know this because I went to comfort this poor woman and it is horror. It’s horror out there.

im 45 $14 an hour, 2 kids married, wife works $13.80 an hour. we have no idea what we are going to do. ive tried getting into warehouses and they wont hire me. we only owe $19k on our home and property but have no idea what we are going to do. my father just passed at 85 all us lived together.

I am 78 I draw 1,139 a month SS I support myself and my granddaughter but I have to work too. I am a hair stylist and thankful I still have customers. Working keeps me healthy.

It’s not as simple as just fat cats in Washington. I do agree it’s both sides, two wings of the same bird. Two parties is an illusion. Until Trump. It’s big pharma, big corp, big tech and big med who are gouging consumers while lobbying Congress to get more and more. And politicians look the other way as money gets shoved at the weak spineless rats. Question is, where does it end?

I saw an 85 year old man working at Walmart today. I find that to be really sad. What many people dont seem to realize is Healthcare cost. Medicare doesn't cover everything, and the prescriptions are ungodly expensive. Throw inflation on top of that, and there is no choice but having to work. Did they make poor choices before this? Probably, we all do. Please not judge somebody without walking in their shoes
