St. Ann's Bay Hospital, UHWI, Cornwall Regional and Spanish Town always have dem horror stories ya... Baby a come out wid bruk hand because of dem a pull the child out of the mother and nuff mom dead because of negligence... I have a friend weh a nurse weh me did affi cut off because 1 day I visited her at work and watch her write that she gave a patient medication that she didn't. I was stunned out my mind, I never spoke back with her in life. Nuff a dem a wicked, not all but nuff a dem...😫😫😫

😭, I went to the hospital cause I was spotting instead of doing the ultrasound as I requested they did a finger test and send me home for bed rest Saturday then Sunday my bleeding and cramping became worst and I lost my baby

I agree with you wholeheartedly. The story was disturbing and could have been avoided. Then they tell women to go have kids. Piss off to the heath system in Jamaica. And this will continue because as you said no accountability. I just can't handle these stories day by day. 💔🥺🤦🏾♀️

I went to St.Ann’s Bay to have my baby. At the time I was 17. I went there about 3pm the Sunday because I was feeling a little contraction. In the night around 8pm, never forgot because Digicel Rising Star was airing on Tv and I was there watching it and the contraction started coming more quicker. I told the nurse I was there from in the day and I’m feeling a lot of pain, she curse me and said I should go back to my bed because there is three stage of labor and I’m in the first stage. so I started screaming because it was my first time and I didn’t know the pain would be so severe when they took me and exam me I was all of 8cm dilated, a so them start run up and down and a go for wheel chair and take up my basin. When I got in the labor room I was feeling so much pain I ask the midwife if she could just stay with me and hold my hand. She start cuss and say she wah go a her yard and she can’t bother with them problem yah and she just wah the Pickney come out cause she tired of me. I was twisting and turning in pain because as I said was my first time. I kept apologizing over and over how sorry I was for putting her through a difficult time and me say the woman cuss till bout after 12am the Monday morning when I delivered my baby.
