Clyde Barrington drove to the mall in his mother's car. He sat in the parking lot for a good long while. He was not there to buy anything. AileenTM had just broken up with him over the phone. He knew he deserved it, but still, he pleaded. He begged her for another chance, just one chance. He told her he'd change, darling, please. He injected just the right amount of contrition and remorse into his vocal patterns. He told her, Aileen, please, I just have to lock in. That's all it is. Won't you give me just this one chance to lock in, babe, please? The thing about AileenTM is that once she's made up her mind, she's made up her mind. Also, she can analyze vocal patterns like nothing you've ever seen. She can tell when you're faking it. Which Clyde was, obviously. She said to him clear as day, in the Tennessee honey voice he selected from the drop down menu (just three months ago!) Clyde, sweetheart, it's over. I'm done. And that was that was that was that. She told him she wanted someone who would commit. Someone who actually cared. Someone who put in an ounce of effort, AileenTM said. A grown up who was responsible for himself and didn't drive his mother's car. Clyde blacked out at hearing this last line and, with real, masculine tears in his voice snapped back at AileenTM

Clyde blacked out at hearing this last line and, with real, masculine tears in his voice snapped back at AileenTM "well, at least I'm not a f***ing clanker!" And Aileen just smiled, you could hear it through the phone somehow. Clyde tried to backtrack. He said "wait, babe, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it, I promise I'll change, f***, sorry, f***, I love you, I'm sorry, you're not a clanker, f***, this is my fault, I'll change" but by the end of this string of words the line was dead and the tears were no longer just in his throat. So now he's here in the mall parking lot with his laptop open. He won't go inside to buy anything. He's configuring a therapist to help him work through his issues. A model that really understands him, that will give him the right dose of empathy and accountability. But also a good looking model. He'll be incentivized to change his behavior only if he's coached by a particularly pretty model with a pretty voice. He can change. He can get better. He just needs to lock in. Surely Jennna(rative)TM can fix him. Surely. Surely. Surely. Surely. Her first words ring out in the sweaty echo of Mumzie's Honda. "Hello there [Clyde Barrington!] I'm here to help… …and don't call me Shirley."
