I moved an hour away from my 6yr old, I pick him up.friday after work at 6 he spends the weekend with me and I take him home Sunday night. I never miss a school function and still pay and support everything he does we try to pack a whole week Into a weekend to catch up the missed time lol

there are so many men being called absent fathers that are having to fight to be in their lives. my dad was absent, but I'm honestly questioning if my mom did what my baby mama is doing to me.

I know a divorced couple, they got two boys, 13 & 15. We live in Canada, parents had 50-50 custody, dad got a better job offer in Las Vegas, Nevada, and now resides there alone, and they have full custody with their mother. There’s always a choice to take a job somewhere else he chose to take that job to have more money. Sidenote, he’s incredibly wealthy already. This is a father who says he wants to be in his kids lie but literally move to another country. How do we explain that?

Sometimes you HAVE to move away to be a better father. You cannot be a good father if you are not happy. Choosing to be a father is not related to live under the same roof.

I have them frequently including weekends and overnights but for me anyway .. the hard thing is never being able to come home from work to my girls being there. Also the Dad's the one that usually has to rebuild completely .. home .. job .. etc .. so it's hard to do that and also have your kids at every opportunity 💙
