If you are pregnant please keep scrolling. This is a very vulnerable real and raw video if you are currently pregnant i recommend you scroll on and don’t watch this. There are moments in life that split you into a before and an after. This was one of mine. We walked into that room expecting to see our baby growing and hear her little heartbeat again. Instead, we heard the words no parent is ever prepared for: “There’s no heartbeat.” Our sweet girl had stopped growing at 7 weeks and 6 days. We named her Poppy. 🌸 After losing Nellie, experiencing a chemical pregnancy, walking through infertility and IVF, we truly believed Poppy was finally our rainbow. We had already imagined who she would be, what our lives would look like with her, and the future we thought we were finally getting. She was tiny, but she was so deeply loved. She was wanted before she ever existed, prayed for before we ever saw those two lines, and loved every single second she was ours. Poppy, you will always be our daughter. You will always have a place in our family, right beside your big sister Nellie. 🤍 This isn’t where our story ends. We still have five little embryos waiting for us, and somehow, when we’re ready, we’ll find the courage to hope again. But right now, we grieve our Poppy. 🌸 Our beautiful little girl who was here for far too short a time, but will be loved for the rest of ours. And to anyone who thinks I was mean to the tech, I was naked on that table and she touched my legs I just set a boundary the second I needed it. And she understood. #miscarriage #loss #lossmom #grief #infertility
