ong i just got the air pro about two months ago and now they release this one that is so much more ideal for me 😭😭 mine is 33 lb without battery/57 with it (i think) & it’s STILL too heavy for me! I didn’t think it would be that bad & the other night I had to order a Waymo (so there was no driver to help or anything) & I used like 3 days of spoons getting it into the back seat, and also barely even succeeded… I also see this one has handles in the back?? Because that’s the other issue I have with mine, which is that it is not really meant for a caregiver or someone to be able to push for you… The wheels can be unlocked to push the chair manually but it does not move easily still, & also there are no handles in the back for a person to hold onto!!! Thought this was weird. Idk, i had planned on getting the one that reclined/had neck support because I have ME & Cervical Dystonia & a whole lot of pain & fatigue & a lot is in my neck, and I figured I would need to be able to lie back…: But that one was more expensive 😅 lol. I was grateful to just be able to get anything at all because I wouldn’t have been able to if my father hadn’t gotten it for me, back when OAS had that huge sale?? Idk lol, i guess I don’t really have a point but. I’m really happy with mine because it is my first & has given me so much autonomy, independence, and confidence back already; I was stuck in my house 96% of the time before the chair honestly. & bedbound probably 75-93% depending on the period of time. & now just being able to PACE by saving energy with the chair has resulted in me being in bed less often & even feeling like I can get out of the house MUCH more often…. But yeah, I guess now I am wondering if you have any advice on getting like the ~PURRRFECT CHAIR~ for your own needs? lol 😝 cause I have a doctors order for a power chair with medí-cal but it’s just taking ages and has proven to be really complicated, but I could not wait any longer to… you know… be able to fucking MOVE from my bed, Lol. I was fr deteriorating so fast before. But now I want to figure out how I can get what’s best for me through my insurance if possible, & if not to find one at a reasonable price…
