They never treated him like a servant. 🙄 Mu Qing literally has a whole speech about how the reason he thought Xie Lian was two-faced was because Xie Lian treated him with nothing but kindness and he didn't want to believe someone can be that nice.

Mu Qing is such a realistic character, like the conditions were already bad enough after the war, and he had to take care of his mother WHICH IS ENOUGH A REASON TO LEAVE. Especially since Xie lian and his parents had eachother including Feng Xin, but it wasn’t mentioned if Mu Qings mother had anyone.

How can anyone ever hate Mu Qing. He's like the best character in the series, so much so I need him to have a spin off series just for him He has real guy feelings and real guy priorities
