I have seen players kick the ball away probably 15,000 times since this and seen maybe 5 yellow cards and NEVER a second yellow. Happened to Arsenal twice in the same season

i agree as an arsenal fan it should be a red because rice kicked the ball away and he was already on a yellow. although, look how high the contact is on rice. it's almost on his knee. the ball is not that large. yes rice kicked the ball away so if he swung and hit his ankle or calf area fair, but the knee? I'm not sure about that. I think both players shouldve been booked personally leading to rice's red and the Brighton players yellow

He wasn’t even looking at the ball, 100% he was going for player. Also, why would he kick the ball with that technique? its a leg kick and nothing else, who was he trying to pass the ball to with that technique? Not to mention the ball was moving. BECAUSE HE KICKED IT AT RICE FOR SOME REASON. Arsenal got robbed badly here.
