You suppose to do all of that as a parent yes agreed and the are parents who choose not to, but a lil gratitude won’t hurt anybody. It becomes a problem when one starts to think that you owe them just because you birthed them, yes some kids are ungrateful and entitled…. So when raising a child you won’t need to utter such words believe me. But when your raise your peer, you stop seeing them as kids.
