Ngl Whey isolate works wonders vs whey concentrate for anyone that wants to continue using powder. I am way less bloated from isolate and I drink 2 protein shakes a day (too busy and too broke to buy that much beef/turkey/chicken). Make sure you use a brand that is 3rd party tested (my fav is dymatize) get those gains people

One of my favorite substitutes for protein powder post-workout is chicken bone broth. Usually less calories too.

While processed protein sources might cause more inflammation, it doesn't change muscle gain over a period of time from varying protein sources. Could you potentially feel 1% leaner without the inflammation/bloating? Sure, so I understand that aspect. But overall your body recognizes protein as a nutrient to build muscle, no matter the source.

One thing I will say, protein powder is a great thing, but if you eat like garbage and rely only on the protein powder to do it, doesnโt work, real food means real results people

Protein powder is so massively unregulated & has so many harmful fillers/additives/heavy metals. Good on you for getting out of the habit of relying on it! I wish more people educated themselves about it๐๐ฝ
