@kcesca: Nobody told me that surviving too much means you lose the right to be treated as a survivor. I got kicked out of a crisis support group. My trauma was too much for the group to handle. I had to spend the rest of the session doing emotional labour reassuring everyone else that their pain was valid. Nobody told me that surviving too much means you lose the right to be a survivor.nation on why in the video. #fyppp #victim #womenshealth #womensrights #deepthoughts #sasurvivor #feminism #grape #savictim #victimcomplex #childloss
Amazingly said. “It’s a privilege to have a nervous breakdown”

As someone who was SA'd by a women. on the very rare times I spoke about it I was either told "thats not physically possible if you didnt want it" or "but every guy loves that idea".. not anywhere near the same but I kinda understand.

Everyone talks about the "Trauma Olympics" constantly comparing eachother's traumatic pasts but no one talks about those who are abandoned because they have such extreme trauma that no one understands or even tries to understand. I am so sorry this happened to you and you are completely right about the privilege of having breakdowns and panic attacks

People. She did not experience in real life any of the things she said she experienced. She is probably in psych*sis or there is something going on, and I hope she gets better. But this is just for the people who think that it is real, it is not. None of what she said is real. She thinks she is a time traveler, thought it might have been something fictional, was already kinda like perplexed by her testimony cause it sounded off, but it is indeed not real. She seems to believe it’s real. So yeah this video is not what you think it is, and it is unfortunately very insensitive towards actual survivors, if someone came into a support group and is visibly not well and saying none sense of course they are going to tell you that it is not made for you. No one in that support group was looking at you because you experienced such huge trauma, it was because they knew you were not well, and I’m even wondering if this support group story is even real. Might not be. So yeah don’t waste your time trying to make it make sense, it does not make sense, go see her ytb and other tktk, you’ll understand.

Especially for online, it’s the True Crime Viewer attitude. The “I don’t care about the victim’s feelings, I want to know about the events and the perpetrator so that I can explore my morbid curiosity without the discomfort of hearing about someone’s suffering” attitude. When something is so far out of our imagination or expectations, like your experiences are, people forget that you are real and not just a vessel for a story. It’s gross, and I’m sorry people act without empathy.

people also don't understand how severe trauma can affect someone. I'm losing my ability to walk because my body can't handle the stress anymore

You have every right to be jealous. I’ve never heard anyone tell a story like yours. The horror you have experienced is beyond most humans comprehension of what other humans are capable of. Thank you for being strong enough to share this. I wish more people were capable of sitting with you in this trauma and sharing the burden of knowledge of the depths of human depravity. You deserve to be heard.

I'm jealous because it gives them reason for not being well. my life has generally been alright. my mum's a bit shitty but nothing extreme. but I'm still wracked with anxiety and depression, and I don't even know why. it's not like I have an excuse. I just wished I had a reason.

"no one's experience is not worse than anyone else's," is objectively null shit and you have every right to be frustrated and angry. This is the first video of yours I have watched. But it sounds like you went through hell. You are brave for speaking up. I wish you only good and healing going forward.

Heavy on the “privilege of having mental breakdown”. Is having a breakdown and not being able to get out of bed a nice thing? No, the heck not. But having no choice other than to go and behave how you’re expected to, without any processing time is another kind of hell. I feel you and you deserve to be safe, to be accepted just as you are, with your life story not being “too much”.

I am so sorry you have been shown so little support and compassion. It is sadly true that most people can't handle complex traumatic experiences. I hope you find a grief counselor and kind people who can hold you in that grief.

i see you, i hear you. i believe you. im really sorry people dont give you the space to talk freely as a survivor, as others get to. i struggle with feeling the lack of that often. im still protecting every one else, even from my own expeirences. but congratulations for saying what you did here, that is more than anyone should every carry, but it was inspiring to me, to hear you say it, and not be silenced🩷

It was disgraceful how they asked you to go elsewhere. What if someone has nowhere else to go? Your experience is valid and deserves respect, and it doesn't invalidate others' experiences if you talk about it.
