Thank you so much for this. Sex in dreams is often portrayed or talked about negatively, so I really appreciated the deeper perspective you gave. In my own dreams, regardless of who I’m with, the encounters are almost always highly consensual, and I’m usually the one choosing or initiating them. I also never wake up feeling violated or disturbed, in most cases I’m either completely unbothered or I wake up feeling unusually nourished, energised and well-rested. That’s why I’ve always found it interesting when sex in dreams is automatically associated with something negative, because my own experience has felt completely different.
