But these only measure surface temps. Not air temperature. You need a good digital thermometer placed on the cool side at the floor. That will tell you what your true temperature is. Then choose a good basking bulb that emits the correct IRA from the right distance from your dragon while basking. As long as that cool side digital thermometer doesnt go over 80 degrees, you are good. Choose a good basking surface, a good thick light colored surface usually does the trick so it doesnt overheat but retains a good temperature. 💜

Isnt their hot side supposed to be in the 90s and the basking up in the 100-110s??
