During the fight between Samia and Jee in the Tamasha house, when Zee brought up Samia’s previous controversy, the situation became even more emotional and uncomfortable. There is a huge difference between discussing someone’s present actions and constantly reminding them of something they have already gone through. People make mistakes, people learn, people change, and everyone deserves the opportunity to become a better version of themselves. What happened in the past does not necessarily define who a person is today. We should be careful before judging someone because we never know what they have faced, how much they have changed, or what their relationship with Allah looks like. At the end of the day, accountability belongs to Allah, and our role is not to humiliate someone by repeatedly bringing up their past. Samia deserves to be judged by her present actions, not permanently labelled by something she has already experienced.
