Le prix lui a été remis cette année à Santiago. Ce qui est rare dans son travail : il n'a jamais cherché à construire grand. Beaucoup de ses projets sont des structures temporaires, des pavillons, des installations. Le Pavillon Serpentine 2014 à Londres est probablement son œuvre la plus connue internationalement. @serpentinegalleries L'architecte lui-même parle de tension entre la permanence et la fragilité comme moteur émotionnel de son architecture.
