I agree with you. In my opinion, addiction begins in the mind and that is also where it ends. When you are truly ready to leave your addiction behind, take responsibility for your life, and make conscious choices every day, your addiction can truly remain in the past. Of course, your journey is not always easy, and relapses can happen. But a relapse does not mean that you have failed. What matters is that you get back up and keep moving forward. You should never be defined solely by your past or your addiction. You are so much more than your mistakes and your past. I think your attitude is incredibly positive and strong. Your addiction is part of your story, but it does not have to define your entire identity. Your openness can give hope and courage to other people who are struggling. I wish you continued strength, stability, and success on your journey. A big hug! 🤗🤗🤗
