removing deadframes is a very good method. but you're doing some part manually which isnt good, you can just cuts all the deadframes, once you done you select all the clips and shorten it until 1 frame left, then you use sequence layer function, do not move it manually like that lmao, it is way too time consuming

I'd say it's easier adding keyframes in time remap only when character moves and then putting them all together. And for a better result using flowframes (it's free)

if you want to do this faster, cut the frames on movement, once done select all of them (shift click on the bottom one and shift click on top one) and drag to the left so the cuts become 1 frame, with all still selected right click go on keyframe assistant and select sequence layers and then precompose. Extra tip, if you don't have twixtor or twixtor is too heavy and crashes your ae you can use the script uwu2x to interpolate the precomp which is the same thing as using twixtor.

though if you're in hurry you can also use deadframe remover script by payynuz and also like for very fast movement clips you can uwu 2x pro it's pretty good for saving time if you're in hurry. (good video tho 💕)
