Depends on each family so I would not say it like that… I never said ‘hab dich lieb’ or heard it from my family, while my boyfriend says it his family + me a lot. It really depends 🤨

Another thing you can also use is “ich lieb dich” which is a tad lighter and more casual. I use it on my friends a lot because taking away the e makes a bigger difference than you’d think
