I love military kids though. Within 4 hours of moving in our door bell was ringing so the kids could meet my kids. By the next day they were coming inside helping my kids unpack their rooms 🤣❤️

My husband and I got assigned a 3 bedroom house (we requested a 2 bed lol??) and so our street was just a ton of large families in 3 & 4 bed homes. We had a troop of little kids who showed up at our door and knocked. When I came outside they asked me if I have any kids and I said Im sorry no I dont. The level of disappointment and disgust I saw in their faces was absolutely hilarious. Told my husband we gotta get pregnant real quick.

I was shooketh the first time I lived on post and there were kids ALL OVER my porches and backyard and peeking in the windows. 15 years later it’s normal lol

Living on base i always have kids at my house. Last station we had about 10 kids in the backyard nearly everyday. 😅 4 are mine.

Oddly jealous right now. We just got to Polk and we haven’t seen a single soul outside yet. We came from Benning where you had to roll through the neighborhood at 1 mph dodging kids left and right. It was beautiful 😭

we had just gotten into our house, like just got the keys. the kids were running around picking out what rooms they wanted and I went to go see and I realized that there were two extra kids and one of the bedrooms 😂😂 I think they had been friends with whoever had lived there previously so they just walked themselves in when they saw the door was open

I had new neighbor kids come to the door and ask if my kids could come play outside. As a childless by choice woman, it actually hurt my heart to tell them I didn’t have any kids for them to play with and my dogs were too old to play. 😅 These military kids have NO FEAR.

I’m so disturbed by these comments… what?? We’re PCSing for fort Campbell in like 3 days , do I need to be concerned about random children in our yard all the time or up our butts while we unload into the new house ?
