Friends!! Please be aware when driving and when crossing! Today could have been a very different day for us and I’m thanking God that it wasn’t! When Tanner was getting on the bus today we saw a car coming down the road. Out of a ton of caution I yelled to him that a car was coming (ton of caution because it has PLENTY of time to stop but he was behind Brians truck and I wanted to make sure he knew) The bus pulled up, recognized the car and started beeping while having its flashing STOP sign out…the car never stopped! Not only did it not stop, they waved as they passed by…anger and frustration are just a few words that described our reaction! As we came back inside that’s when the fear creeped in and the reality of what could have been got me! Thank you Jesus for keeping our boy safe! 🙏 And thank you to Bus 8 driver who protects our kids and Mechanicsburg for handling the situation!! Now I just want it to be 3:00 so I can hug my boy! 💙 *the video saved strange and you can’t hear the bus horn blaring…she honked for a LONG time!*
