Kinda understand, kinda don’t. It IS a kids game, but it’s kinda hard because they invade 18+ servers too, liked Mic’d Up. I’ll play a game that has party lobbies, and I’ll say “Please no kids in my lobby.” And a 10 year old immediately comes in singing into the mic. So I’ll exit the party and walk over to another party, and they follow.

tbh, most of the adults playing Roblox grew up with Roblox and have their accounts for 10+ years and Roblox clearly had been wanting to grow with them or they wouldn't have started this whole 18+ servers or voice chat in the first place

as someone who’s played Roblox since he was 4 years old and is 20 now, I just leave kids alone. and if there are kids who were put in 18+ chat I’m just pleasant to them like I am to anyone. like… we were all cringe at some point, that’s just part of development. to be cringe is to be free, not chased off of… a platform and game made for kids…

Just get a private server, then. I also get annoyed with the obnoxious kids on Roblox, but like...it's Roblox. Of course there will be kids. I get private servers when they're available or if not I just ignore them.

this odd, since shouldn't they be using age verification then if they dont want to interact with kids? Its not perfect obvi, i was put in the 18+ group when i should've been put in the 21+, but still. If you dont do age verification, then you are just gonna have to deal with talking to children. Im almost 20, i turned off chat. I dont play the super childish games, i just chill alone playing my tycoons and pve shooters, its nostalgic, relaxing. Its a kids game, and i dont want to be in their space. Private servers exist.

i dont think these people realize that roblox started as a kid centered platform, just because you grew up and youre older now does NOT mean everything around you has to be age mature for YOU. especially when children are involved??? anybody who wants to push children off roblox is just weird in my opinion. i wouldve hated if people were doing that when i was playing as a child, why tf would i do that to a kid playing roblox now? the only time i ever have a negative thought about children being around me on roblox is when they pureposefully got themselves put into the wrong age group to talk to older age groups, i dont like that, i think thats weird and that every age group should be socializing with their ACTUAL age group, not people 10 years above or below their age.

im 21 and i think roblox needs to work on their safety features so kids CAN have their own space💔 like please, they need it, kids and teens have practically nothing to themselves in terms of social spaces and they really need that .

Ban kids off the app is a bit much like…what? It’s a game app made for kids dude😭 don’t get me wrong it’s weird to see kids in a age bracket of 18-21+ but I don’t necessarily blame the kids for that. I’d either blame the parents for not overlooking what their kid is doing, and/or Roblox’s age verification system.

i've watched my sister try to take a picture of my mom's face for age verification 🙃 obviously adults being creepy towards children is just gross and unacceptable- but it was made when current adults were children and why should they stop playing? and while I wish they'd better age regulate as my sister proved some parents don't pay enough attention and kids want to be in adult spaces. unfortunately, my sister also admitted that she lies about her age. she was under ten but she doesn't tell them that... she says she's 11 😒 part of me agrees with banning kids - but it would be a punishment for the kids because of parent's negligence. they SHOULD be able to enjoy a game. but if a game hosts both children and adults then both the children's parents AND the game company should do something to actually protect them.
