Hey Leo. i have a lot of racing experience with that same hull as you know. We ran the same droop you have, 82mph with a pump gas 466ci Ford, driver only. The difference is our boat had a shoe/ride plate cut into it. Also it had a rounded keel. I think you should play with the angle of the rideplate you have, the stock Sanger rideplate is really short but it will make a difference. Start at 2* up, and adjust 0.5* at a time until you reach max speed. I dont know what loader you have but we ran a Super Sport. A rounded keel will help with hopping too. If yours is a light layup, then also check for any hooks around the transom or keel. I can explain everything on tiktok but look up some of these terms on google if you dont already know them

Invest in an adjustable wedge that you can find tune they sell them that are aluminum with O-rings so no gaskets. Play with how many degrees you want up or down and that’ll help you fine tune how you want the boat to ride 1° does a lot.

Gonna be rebuilding a 1988 tx 20 with a dominator pump and will have to get a diverter and snoot and was thinking about getting the one you got but from the sounds of it I would like the mini better. Best of luck

No luck with droop snoot best thing I did was put a BM 420 blower on my 502 rooster tail was unbelievable horsepower makes the big rooster
