1 hour charge for 8 hours of heavy use. So sounds like continuous use, plug it in on your lunch or break, then continue using it throughout the rest of the day. Plug it in when you leave. Seems simple enough, why do people hate it?

To everyone saying "diesel generator" and such. Even if that's true that keeps the bulk of the noise away from the work site and the ears of the operator. And there is a reason "diesel" trains are almost always a diesel electric train (diesel generator and electric powertrain). It's a lot more efficient to generate electricity with the diesel than to make a big machine move.

We have one that we have used for about 1 year. Works good if you charge each break (1hour total) no problem doing a normal workday
