@zoeydsngwrtr: We realized the night before going to see Kings Canyon that the best entrance for our game plan was not the one up the road. So i pulled my husband out if bed before dawn (no continental breakfast for him 😭) and we drove up to the Big Stump entrance. Only Siri took us some odd route and we got even more twists and turns. Even without that route- I recommend motion sickness medicine if there is anyone in your car that gets motion or car sickness take motion sickness medicine. I’d have nausea medicine on hand too if you can. These are crazy curvy roads, its like driving bumper cars with a toddler for an hour, only not hitting other cars (hopefully).
