got greedy. could of sold half that 80k profit and guarantee 40k. you got your initial investment, you got extra + extra for taxes, and then let the other 40k enjoy the ride. it either grows more or hits $1k. either way, you guaranteed 40k

When I was 21 I flipped a house. I had bought it right out of college and fixed it up myself in 6 months. I walked away with around 60k after taxes. This was 2020, I was working from home and had a ton of time, it was just the perfect storm. I had just built a gaming pc and then someone on reddit told me to invest in Nvidia. I did. All of it. Never sold. It's my retirement! (I recently diversified with the help of a financial advisor lol).
