I'm in the talking stage with a guy now, hes going through a hard time because of his parents. I'm treating him in this situation how I wish to be treated. Many people would probably think, you haven't even been on your first date yet, why are you allowing him to be like this. And my answer is that we can't plan bad situations, but I do like him and I get the feeling he likes me too, he talks about the future with me in it. It's just been a little hard to meet up because he's in no state to do it now. If I show him kindness now we can see how he'll treat me in the future. A (potential) relationship is give and take. It's not his fault his parents are going through something.
