@julia225666: Her story changed the minute @pawsitivesanctuary found her. THEY saved her, and started her rehabilitation. Then, after she was well enough, they worked for months to get her walking again. We saw her story and just wanted to love her forever. Now she runs everyday, she plays with her siblings at @amira.amiracle and she makes everyone pay the tummy tax when they come into our home. When I showed her orthopedic surgeon videos of her running, he said that it was nothing short of a miracle, and that running and playing was the best therapy she could have, to strengthen her muscles to help support her wonky bones. He said it was all a result of extreme confinement and starvation while she was growing. So her owners basically got a puppy put it in a tiny cage, left her there for over a year, then threw her in the trash. I hope they see know evil they are, and how loved and happy she is today. She loves to paddled board, go for walks till she’s tired, then she rides in her fancy stroller, chase rabbits, squirrels and giant squirrels with wings (geese).
