It takes a lot for someone to be placed on a hold. Usually a family is relieved and are upset they can’t hold them any longer. Something is very off here.

No one but the doctor has authority here. Period end of story. Mental health professionals are the only one with authority in this case. And 72hr hold doesn’t include weekends.

For a doctor to sign and support the admission in to a facility, your child has issues that need to be evaluated. As a parent, I'd want my child to get as much help as possible if there's a problem.

Im guessing they were on vacation or a family trip, and the girls self harmed or something along those lines so a doctor did a 72 which not valid on weekends. and mommy dearest thinks she can save her which is only going to cause the child more harm than good.

As parents they’re not doing the right thing evidently her daughter their daughter needs care and they’re denying her that care just because they want to have authority and control over her. The parents aren’t doing the right thing.

these places are all about filling beds for revenue.the more they hold and the longer they hold the money piles in. they are not interested in mental health, they are interested in money and wealth!

And this is the whole point. Nobody knows why she got put in there on A72 hour hold, maybe she was self-harming her parents take her home, she kills herself, then they're going to blame the police for letting her out. The doctor says she needs to be there, well, guess what she's staying 72 hour hold, and they do not count weekends why? Because the courts aren't open on weekends, so 72 hour hold A72 hour business day, hold, so you got 3 days if she can't get out till Monday that means it was Wednesday Thursday Friday. Maybe she was going to do a mass shooting.We don't know, so parents are going to go to jail.Let them

It’s just like any other government run place- business hours - weekends do not count. So if she went in on a 72 hour hold on a Friday- it doesn’t count over the weekend- so these people are just being difficult.
